Meet the team
Philadelphia Kids Club is not a babysitting service. We hire only instructors with a passion for teaching children the skills they themselves love to perform. Our staff comes from such reputable institutions as University of the Arts, Penn State University and McCall and Independence Charter elementary school’s teaching staff. All Philadelphia Kids Club instructors are dedicated to the same philosophy that we have built our programs upon.
Sharon

Sharon is a mom of 2 elementary school boys and built Kids On 12th with them in mind. She attended University of Delaware focusing on Psychology and Young Exceptional Children. She worked for more than 20 years with developmentally disabled and mentally ill adults. She has also worked for 10 years managing preschools and with special needs children. Motivation for Kids On 12th came with her son, Soufien, then a very active 3 year old! Sharon quickly realized that McDonald's was the only place in Center City where Soufien could run and climb freely in winter months! Not enjoying the time spent with french fries, the seeds of Kids On 12th were planted.

Always being involved in sports herself as a child, she started working with kids teaching swim lessons as a sophomore at the University of Delaware. After graduating with a degree in Enviromental Science, Judy worked in that field for several years. She could not shake her love for fitness so she began working as a shift manager for 12th Street Gym. During these years she built her reputation as a swim teacher for children and personal trainer with a specialty in training older adults. Judy has always believed that children raised with fitness in their lives became healthier and more confident adults.
